june 22nd nat's game

the big-headed presidents' race. apparently it's rigged so washington always win and poor teddy comes in last.

my first baseball game: nat's win, 4-1

after the baseball game, the whole gang went to hawk and dove for a nightcap. our server was more interested in dancing along with the uber-loud dance music. she didn't even know which beer was which when she placed our order down. i'm hoping it was her first night on the job, so i'd have an excuse to not call her stupid. also the place was swarming with capitol hill interns. imagine all these interns from possibly several different states partying at the tables around us. oh, also, the place's decor incorporated several photos of former presidents. it was quite odd having to look at FDR's solemn face when you're chowing down on chili cheese fries and drinking yuengling.
